Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay Downtown

Within walking distance of SeaPort Village, USS Midway, and Gaslamp. Complimentary made-to-order breakfast was great. The hotel itself is beautiful — a fun place to stay, especially with kids. Fridge and microwave didn’t work. Some front desk staff are incredible. Some are average. None were rude. We would book here again with no hesitation!

This hotel is in a great spot especially if you don’t want to be driving around. It’s a short ride from the airport and is easy to walk to the piers, downtown, gaslamp, ferry’s, restaurants etc. This Google listing has a very inaccurate pool pic which disappointed but I guess didn’t surprise as Embassy’s aren’t known for their outdoor pools. Rooms are large, breakfast is yum, happy hood cocktail hour is always nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Embassy Suites San Diego Bay Downtown! The location is perfect and makes everything easy and convenient. The service was excellent, and Sabrina was especially helpful and kind. She truly made our stay even better. We will definitely be back!

Husband and I decided to visit San Diego last minute and after researching the downtown area decided the location of ES fit us perfectly. Short walk from the 992 bus stop to and from the airport. We booked through Expedia and selected a King Corner Suite. We had a wonderful view of the Harbor and will miss waking up to that in the am. Room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the nightly reception, bartenders were so friendly. Breakfast ran like a well oiled machine and food selection was wonderful. We were able to use our resort fee at the on-site restaurant and gift shop. The pizza at The restaurant was very good and the staff was excellent-thank you Chris! Gift shop attendant very helpful in helping us as well. This ES was the best one we have stayed at in a very long time. The location is a perfect for Seaport Village, walking to the Gaslamp District, Midway, and we even walked to Little Italy. Will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay, convenient to the conference I was attending. Free freah made breakfast, complimentary drinks in the evening. Every single member of the the staff were friendly and helpful. Talked for a while with Sabrina, she was so friendly and kind!

I need 7 stars for the service here. This hotel is worth every dollar, because they cater to you. I had my first maple sausage, caramelized onion with cheese omelet to die for. You do not have to make your breakfast everything is set on your plate just ask . The best part of the breakfast experience it's complimentary. In addition, there is complimentary evening beverages 530pm to 7pm. Heated pool in the lobby. And my view is phenomenal I have view of the bridge , ocean, and marina . And I'm one mile from Petco park, too bad no games are available due to Christmas season. The palm trees are decorated with lights. And there is valet parking it will cost you but the customer service is impeccable. My family did not have to lift a finger because the bell man took our luggage. In addition, they welcomed family with complimentary snacks to the room. But dont touch the other snacks they will charge you. Well Done Embassy Suites Hilton

Excellent experience at breakfast with Donna serving us. Iniego also helped me with coffee one day and refilled the milk another day, even though it was just at closing time. Very kind and helpful. Felipe was also a very kind cook. Sabrina was a very pleasant and a bright spot every morning during our stay. Wonderful person! Excellent service!

We had a fabulous stay here at Embassy Suites. Our family with young kids loved the hotel layout with the glass elevators. Our suite was spacious enough and the sofa bed was actually comfortable. The breakfast had both buffet and made to order foods, which was much better than other hotels who have complimentary breakfast. It was right across the street from Seaport Village where we found a great seafood restaurant. The pool is indoors which is perfect for winter months. Just Fyi valet parking is $70 and resort fee is $25 (which is a hotel credit towards food and beverages), but still worth staying here.
